DIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT
What is a Diploma Supplement?
The Diploma Supplement is an official document that is attached to a diploma. It was developed in partnership with UNESCO, the European Commission, and the Council of Europe. The goal of this document is to increase the transparency of international education and make it easier for diplomas and degrees to be understood across different countries.

The document has eight main sections that aim to ensure international transparency and recognition of academic/professional qualifications. These sections cover the diploma that the individual has obtained, the level of the degree that was earned, the content of the study program that was completed, the results achieved, the uses of the degree, additional information, the approval status of the diploma supplement, and detailed information about the national higher education system. By providing this information, the academic and professional profile of the individual is better understood and recognized internationally.

The Diploma Supplement is a document that aims to provide clear, understandable, and informative details about a learner's education. It is not a transcript and should not be used as a substitute for a CV or a diploma. It is intended to make education transparent and understandable by providing detailed information, but it does not provide academic or professional recognition.

What are the Benefits of the Diploma Supplement for Students?
The diploma supplement is a document that provides detailed information to students about their academic and soft skills, enabling them to have a clear understanding of their education and make informed decisions. It addresses important issues such as alignment with European Higher Education Standards and equivalence in degrees, thus increasing students' international mobility and lifelong learning opportunities.

The diploma supplement also plays a supportive role for students during and after their studies. It provides comprehensive information about their academic abilities and skills acquired, guiding them and employers in their professional orientation. Furthermore, it accelerates and facilitates students' transition to professional life. It contributes to students' career development by equipping them with detailed information about their areas of specialization and helping them find suitable job opportunities.
